I also do digital illustration directly on pad. This technique has its place on my art life as a travel buddy or a buddy of dark winter nights. Then I have all medias and colors packed with me in a thin piece of screen on my lap. Easy to carry and no mess on the table to clean when you finish the day. And there is no wet paint to be waited. The tablet also allows you to maintain your unique drawing style with structures, layers and line types you like. When printed the final touch is added as the structure of the paper or fabric strains.
